Up until this season can't think of many times that ive left early and I've been going for well over fifty years.
This has been by far one of the worst seasons ive encountered and that's including the relegation years.
Does that make you a better supporter because you stay to the end?
Think you need a reality check to be so blind.
We all go to be entertained to give you a feel good feeling and has been said we've had that only three times all season.
I made my decision not to renew after the first few games at home and I have a so called good seat I honestly hope things turn out better for those that carry on but I'm glad I'm out of it.

I'm not defending the board. I just mean that at the end of the match today I thought, "what am I going to do with the kids for the next 3 months over weekends?"

Oh my fucking God.... why not taking somewhere they actually enjoy then... like I said it's an illness

Re: Embarrassing support
I took the kids down to the pitchside and the players were so far away. Could at least of come over closer.

They stayed on the pitch so as not to mix with us muggy fans.
As always Ginge was the only one to throw a shirt to someone.

Left at 2-0, could have easily left at HT.
Why anyone would stay till the end to face that, humiliating.

Not that I agree with the OP but lets all remember this the next time some wag 'hilariously' declares there must be a fire drill at *insert stadium* when watching someone get walloped on the telly.

The players were on the beach before the game kicked off. If I had known from the start would not of even bothered to turn up.

I have hated it apart from Chelsea in cup, Spurs and Palace... but the actual travel to the match with the kids, eating, having a laugh on the way to the match is all good.

Just a shame about the shit team, shit stadium, shit atmosphere.

I would have been back in the pub shortly after the third goal if I'd been there yesterday and fully understand people doing the same.

The high and mighty who always think you're only a proper fan if you see every single second don't half talk shit.

Loyalty works both ways, they need to encourage you to hang around.

There's another two weeks until season ticket renewal deadline. I bet 85% will renew.

Re: Embarrassing support
Numbers of season tickets bought next year is going to be very interesting. It will finally reveal this lie or otherwise on the 50,000 waiting list and show how many who will not renew.

I'm sure they'll be thousands who won't renew but will they be replaced or not?

Can't see the point on spending £1500 a season on travel, ticket etc to watch 3 great games

3 nil v palace
2 - 1 v chelsea
1 nil v spurs

Re: Embarrassing support
Doing nothing isn't an option simply because clearly Newcastle Brighton, Swansea, Bournemouth and Burnley all have managers who can get a tune out of their players.
It's the inability to make the most of what we've got is the worry

Even our complacent owners must realise the championship beckons

Re: Embarrassing support
Thousands of empty seats all around the stadium.

John, I would not even debate with Gavr as he is a true Sky fan who believes supporting EVERYTHING the club does makes him a PWOPER supporter.

Re: Embarrassing support
Best support we can get now is for Sullivan and Gold to sell and clear off. If not then it will be the same old lies, not surprised season ticket sales are down.

Wasn't there yesterday but had I been I would have left early too, to hell with watching that lot and then getting stuck in queues.
